Our Coffee

At Crane House Coffee, we’re a veteran-owned roastery in Pensacola dedicated to crafting each cup with intention, integrity, and heart. We partner with three like-minded importers, Desarrolladores de Café for Colombia, Capricornio Coffees for Brazil, and La Bodega for origins across Africa and Central America, because we believe the best flavors arise from relationships built on respect, transparency, and shared purpose.

Our Colombian green beans come through Desarrolladores de Café, whose “micro-revolution” model uplifts smallholders by co-owning wet mills, funding local training centers, and paying above-market premiums. In this network you’ll find trailblazers like Wilder Lazo of Huila, whose Gesha Spirits lot is celebrated for its vivid floral and citrus notes, and Jorge Rojas of Tolima, a fourth-generation grower whose experimental fermentations have earned global acclaim. Their commitment to community education and equitable growth mirrors our own goal of using coffee to fuel positive change.

In Brazil, Capricornio Coffees breathes new life into historic regions across Paraná and São Paulo by forging multi-year contracts, offering fixed premiums, and maintaining certifications such as Rainforest Alliance and I-REC. We’re proud to source from producers like Luiz Roberto Saldanha, whose family estate balances agroforestry with traditional craftsmanship, and Marcelo Valdevino, whose dedication to soil health and varietal selection yields consistently clean, complex cups. Their philosophy of environmental stewardship and artisanal excellence is woven into every Crane House roast.

For coffees from Ethiopia, Kenya, Costa Rica, and beyond, La Bodega curates small-batch microlots directly from cooperatives and standout farmers. We highlight voices like Bekele Alemu in Sidama, whose natural-process lots sing with stone-fruit sweetness; Margaret Wamae of Nyeri, whose women’s collective champions fair wages and ecological drying beds; and Ernesto Navarro in Tarrazú, whose family’s meticulous picking practices showcase Costa Rica’s signature bright acidity. La Bodega’s traceable, community-first ethos amplifies our mission to connect your morning ritual to the lives and lands behind each cup.

Every bag we roast is more than coffee, it’s a bridge between you and the extraordinary farmers who inspire us. When you choose Crane House Coffee, you’re savoring top-tier flavor while uplifting the people and places that make it possible.
