This special release is the result of a partnership between Crane House Coffee, based in Pensacola, Florida, and Capricornio Coffees of Brazil. Together, we’re proud to present a double-fermented Arara variety grown on Fazenda California, a standout farm in Brazil’s Norte Pioneiro do Paraná region.

Owned by the Saldanha family, Fazenda California sits at 750 meters above sea level and benefits from rich volcanic soils, consistent rainfall, and a unique subtropical microclimate—creating ideal conditions for cultivating high-quality Arabica coffees. The region’s wide temperature swings and well-defined seasons bring depth and complexity to every lot.

After the tragic loss of visionary founder Dr. Paulo Saldanha, his children Luiz and Flavia—both agronomists and certified Q-Graders—carried his dream forward. With renewed plantings, cutting-edge processing infrastructure, and a deep commitment to sustainability, the family now produces some of Brazil’s most vibrant coffees.

Smooth and structured with a dessert-like sweetness, this roast is a tribute to thoughtful farming, intentional processing, and the collaborative spirit of quality-driven producers across continents. From Paraná to Pensacola—crafted with heart, roasted with purpose.
