At Crane House Coffee, we believe the best coffee starts with bold choices and obsessive care. That’s why we’re proud to partner with Desarrolladores De Café and Eduardo Fernández Restrepo—one of Colombia’s most innovative coffee producers—for this truly exceptional release.
Eduardo is a third-generation coffee grower from the highlands of Concordia, Antioquia, but instead of continuing down the road of high-volume, industrial coffee production, he carved his own path—focused on quality, experimentation, and a relentless pursuit of flavor. His farm, El Zacatín, sits at a pristine 2,100 meters above sea level, where cool mountain air and rich volcanic soil create the perfect microclimate for one of the world’s most revered coffee varieties: Geisha.
This particular lot is the result of years of experimentation and careful craftsmanship. Grown among 50,000 hand-planted trees—including 20,000 Geisha—this coffee undergoes a unique washed process with a 36-hour aerobic fermentation in mucilage. It's a slow, intentional method that unlocks the variety’s full potential. After fermentation, the beans are fully washed and dried on raised beds for over two weeks—allowing delicate floral aromatics and crisp citrus acidity to shine.
This is coffee for detail lovers—for those who want more than just caffeine. It’s a cup that tells a story. A story of patience, passion, and perfection—from the misty mountains of Antioquia to your mug.
